Accommodation in Krui
Paradise Surf Camp offers inexpensive, clean, single/double occupancy private bungalows overlooking the most well-known wave in the Krui area- Ujung Bocur (AKA Karang Nyimbor). Each bungalow is self-contained and has beds, a fan, electrical outlets, locks, and a small porch that looks out to the ocean. The waves can be checked from the camp but the paddle out requires a leisurely 5-minute walk up the beach or a 1 minute motorbike ride. There is no easier way to surf in South Sumatra than with us!
Things in South Sumatra operate quite differently than more touristy parts of Indonesia. Accommodation at Paradise Surf Camp is laid-back and basic. For the average traveling surfer looking to escape the more crowded Indo spots it will be more than enough, but if you have any special needs please clarify them with us beforehand. All the food (included in the price of accommodation) is home-cooked by our chefs and will be one of the highlights of your trip!

We can also arrange motorbike rental (65,000rp per day), car rental (price varies, available with or without driver), and airport transfers (see below).
Meals
Three meals per day are included with each night of accommodation. Meals are all freshly prepared in-house by our staff. Dishes vary but are generally a mix of Indonesian and Western favorites based on availability and preference. A typical day would be banana pancakes, omelets, or crepes for breakfast, Nasi Goreng (fried rice), mixed vegetables, and grilled chicken for lunch, and freshly caught fish, rice, steamed vegetables, potato cakes and fresh sambal (spicy!) for dinner. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day at no charge.
There is a small store in the chill out area where you can add beers, waters, fruit juices, and other snacks to your tab.

Accommodation includes 3 meals per day and unlimited coffee and tea. Prices are based on double occupancy, with single rooms available.

Airport Transfers
Getting to Krui has always been a bit of a mission. Our closest airport used to be Bandar Lampung (Airport code: TKG) which is a 5-7 hour drive depending on traffic.
However, there is now an operational airport in Krui. As of 2022, post-pandemic, Susi Air runs flights twice a week from Bandar Lampung but the plane can not take surfboards. For those interested, we can arrange to bring your boards with a car from the airport while you fly to Krui. Please inquire over email to book this. For everyone else, flying into Bandar Lampung is the best option right now.
Transfers from Bandar Lampung are 1,050,00IDR each way (approx. $75USD / $100AUD). This is the total price per trip, which you can split between all the members of your group. Transportation in Lampung is controlled by the local transportation authority so payments are made to your driver on arrival to the camp. We can schedule pickups at any time. The drive takes approximately 5-7 hours.
